  2. After submitting, the MUSC Health medical records team should respond within three business days.

  3. An adult patient grants access to another adult through Friends and family access, then the Invite Someone button, then Send Invite.

What Sahara helps with

Sahara does not create or approve proxy access, and it cannot get around a decision MUSC Health makes. That stays with MUSC Health.

Once you can sign in to MyChart, Sahara is a free, read-only view of the record you are authorized to see, with general education from MedlinePlus for supported medications, labs and conditions, in English and Spanish. You connect through the MyChart authorization page and can disconnect at any time. Sahara does not give medical advice or interpret results.

Before you act

Policies change, and MUSC Health decides what it accepts. Confirm on its own page or with its MyChart support before acting on anything here. Synodha is not affiliated with MUSC Health, and MUSC Health has not reviewed this page.
