Fifteen years inside US healthcare, turned into software.
Synodha builds two kinds of software: a free tool that helps patients and family caregivers read an authorized medical record, and workflow agents that prepare Annual Wellness Visit, transition-of-care and Chronic Care Management work for accountable human review. Both come out of fifteen years of working in US healthcare and seeing the same problems from the inside.
Mission
Make the record legible without pretending to interpret it.
A discharge summary, a medication list and a lab panel are written for clinicians. The family member trying to help afterwards is reading a document that was never addressed to them. Most of the confusion that follows is not medical, it is linguistic.
Synodha works on that gap. Sahara shows an authorized record in one clear view and links supported coded items to general education from authoritative sources. The enterprise agents prepare recurring care-operations work so the people accountable for it spend their time deciding rather than assembling.
What we believe
Four commitments, and the last one is the constraint on the rest.
Authorization comes first
Nothing is accessed without the patient or an authorized caregiver granting it through their own health system, and access can be withdrawn at any time.
A person stays accountable
The enterprise agents prepare work; they do not decide it. Every output is built to be reviewed by the qualified person who owns the decision.
No claim without evidence
No implied EHR endorsement, no certification we do not hold, no clinical outcome we cannot show. In healthcare an unverifiable claim is not marketing, it is a liability.
How we work
Careful by default, because the subject demands it.
Healthcare software fails differently from other software. A confusing sentence in a merchant dashboard costs someone an hour; a confusing sentence beside a medication can cost more than that. So the default answer to a proposed feature here is a slow one, and anything touching clinical meaning gets removed rather than softened when in doubt.
We are a small team, which means the people who write the software also answer the support mail and own the consequences of what shipped.
